BCG has recently embarked on a transformation journey of Learning@BCG. We have an ambitious vision and roadmap to evolve and expand how our people learn and develop, across all our talent groups. As part of this journey, the BST L&D function has articulated an exciting North Star Vision which reimagines how we approach learning for our 10,000+ BSTers across the firm to become an activist, strategic partner to the business.
This role has been created, in part, to help drive this transformation and will be critical to its success. You will report to and work closely with the Global BST L&D Senior Director providing project management support for the transformation, driving stakeholder engagement and communications, and helping cascade the strategy through the firm. You will need to bring a strong problem-solving toolkit to assess and drive the changes and will have creativity, flexibility, and excellent change and communications skills to be able to 'tell the story' to Senior Stakeholders and propel the transformational change.
You will lead selected L&D initiatives in support of this North Star Vision, shaping the strategy, owning operational delivery, and sometimes managing team members. You will collaborate, influence, and build relationships across our wider L&D teams, engaging in firmwide L&D Projects to represent the BST perspective and priorities and taking a consultative approach to shape outcomes which reflect these needs.
Finally, you will support the BST L&D Snr Director in ensuring robust practices and mechanisms to measure the impact of L&D Interventions, manage budgets, and ensure an effective and high-performing team.
YOU'RE GOOD ATWHAT YOU'LL DOManaging strategic initiatives and large-scale complex transformations in support of significant organizational change efforts:
Lead the planning and prioritizing of initiatives across the full strategic agenda, including developing work plans and team charters, clarifying priorities, and creating an overall program plan.Makes strategic, long-lasting decisions and has full ownership for these, sometimes complex topics.Lead specific initiatives including scoping work, planning, conducting analysis, and making recommendations, analytics support, and/or developing presentations.Monitor progress of projects, review output, and provide a view of progress and milestones and issues.Managing the technical and cultural aspects of change, with a strong focus on people.Stakeholder engagement and communication:
Work with senior stakeholders and develop thorough communication plans aligned to the North Star Vision and roadmap that engages and excites teams.Build and manage deep relationships to influence stakeholders locally, regionally, and globally, changing thinking and gaining acceptance to the transformation.Partner with COEs to define overall brand and messaging for BST L&D and individual offer elements.Be a change ambassador across networks and in sensitive situations.Be a motivator and inspiring role model, giving direction, mentoring, and coaching, to the highest standards.Ways of Working:

Advanced degree preferred. Project Management qualification beneficial.You have successfully led complex global projects and large-scale transformations using best practice project management methods.You have strong interpersonal, critical-thinking, change management, and decision-making skills; you're detail-oriented and able to execute initiatives quickly and accurately.Experience at BCG or other professional services firm in a business partnership or project management role is beneficial.Preference for a background in L&D or related field and proven strong interest in the field.You have demonstrated experience of working in a global environment and managing a complex stakeholder network.YOU'LL WORK WITHBCG's HR team works to attract, develop, excite, deploy, and retain the best people in the market.
