Key Responsibilities: Translate business requirements into functional requirements and use cases Monitor data flows to and from systems to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate Utilize Anaplan to clean historical sales data Implement outlier detection techniques to ensure data quality before feeding into algorithms and models Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain relevant data sets to be leveraged as related data in PlanIQ (nice to have) Ensure timely and accurate data collection and processing to enhance the forecasting models Develop and generate monthly baseline forecasts using advanced algorithms in PlanIQ (nice to have) Predict demand volumes across different levels of product hierarchy Analyse the outputs of forecasting algorithms and models resulting from PlanIQ (nice to have) Overwrite baseline forecasts where necessary based on additional data analysis and past baseline forecast performance Analyse the accuracy of baseline forecasts before and after adjustments of global analytics planner using Forecast Value Add (FVA) metrics Conduct periodic reviews of ABCXYZ classification at different levels Use Anaplan functionalities to support the classification process Implement classification findings to improve demand planning Collaborate with global and regional demand planners, with focus on increasing their understanding on how baseline forecast volumes have been compiled Stay updated with the latest advancements in forecasting algorithms and data analysis techniques Propose and implement improvements to the forecasting process and tools.
