We are looking for an experienced head of short-term trading to lead our efforts in improving trading strategies and winning new asset mandates.Tasks:Take leadership of all short-term markets operationsBuild continuous intraday operational processesDevelop and execute trading algorithms for asset-backed tradingImprove existing renewable balancing strategiesBuild short-term price predictions with the support of the tech/ML teamHelp develop pricing and optimization models for flexible assets (batteries, cogens, demand response, etc.)
with the support of the overall tech teamSupport the Augmented Energy team in developing new flexibility-oriented servicesRequirements:We are looking for someone eager to work in a start-up environment and take ownership of critical tasksBachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering, or mathMinimum experience of 3 years in power markets and short-term trading, preferably in the French marketsStrong understanding of the short-term markets microstructureOperational exposure to power tradingExperience and understanding of balancing markets (aFFR, RR, imbalance calculation, etc.)
