Your missionConduct comprehensive site assessments to evaluate the suitability of locations for photovoltaic (PV) and/or battery storage energy system (BESS) projects, considering factors such as solar resource, existing infrastructures and utilities, land use plans and environmental protection.Evaluate natural risks and terrain features, such as flood risk and topography, to ensure construction feasibility and project optimization.Review land use compatibility by analyzing local and regional plans to ensure alignment with zoning and development policies.Collaborate with the engineering team for the design and optimization of the photovoltaic layouts.Manage and maintain cadastral data across multiple countries, ensuring consistency and accuracy on official property boundaries and land lease agreements.Perform site prospection to identify new potential locations for PV and/or BESS project development.Develop and maintain web GIS applications, primarily within the ArcGIS Online environment, such as dashboards, web maps, and other data-driven interactive tools.Support decision-making processes and effectively communicate project findings by producing high-quality maps, spatial models and technical reports.Design, implement, and manage a structured database to centralize and organize all relevant geospatial data for project development, ensuring accessibility, consistency, and accuracy across teams.Your profileBachelor's degree in Geomatics and/or Geoinformatics Engineering, Geography, or a related field.Proficiency in relevant desktop GIS tools (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS); including geoprocessing, spatial analysis and data management.Experience with web GIS platforms, particularly ArcGIS Online or Enterprise, for developing web applications.Fluent in Spanish and English, as a must.
