Universidad de Deusto - Investigación is the technological research center of the University of Deusto, located on the Bilbao campus, whose mission is to promote research, training, and knowledge transfer at the service of society and industry.Within the framework of the European project MOUNTADAPT, it seeks to strengthen its team with the incorporation of a postdoctoral researcher specialized in the application of artificial intelligence in the context of "environmental health". The successful candidate will work at the forefront of new algorithms and models working on factors affecting environmental health with special emphasis on climate change and its adverse effects.Therefore, he/she will contribute to the development of an effective ecosystem for the development and cultivation of talent by generating enriching knowledge and facilitating its transfer and social impact.TasksActively participate in the area of environmental health with the use of the 4.0 paradigm and, in particular, artificial intelligence.Collaborate with the teams of the MOUNTADAPT project partners working in a multidisciplinary way and with the purpose of boosting the particular area of "environmental health" in the eVIDA team.Provide support to the research group during the preparation of proposals for new projects in the area of national and international scope aligned with the MOUNTADAPT thematic.Mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students.Publishing research results in scientific journals and national and international conferences.Provide support to the research team in the drafting of technical, dissemination, and administrative reports on the MOUNTADAPT project.PI and/or Project Manager: Begoña García-ZapirainFunding Entity: Horizon Europe, project MOUNTADAPT.We offerFull-time incorporation in the last quarter of 2024, with economic conditions commensurate with the experience and knowledge provided by the candidates.
