We are looking for a Geriatric Medicine consultant to support primary care providers and Thea Health, who is excited about telehealth innovation.

This role is a non-traditional role and is best for people looking to supplement their income.
This role functions as a 1099 and payment is on a per consult basis.
Volume varies based on specialty and we consistently check in to make sure we are respecting your bandwidth.
Employment type: Contract (payment on per-consult basis) What you'll be working on: Responding to electronic consultations within 24 hours Conducting clinical quality checks Providing second opinions Answering primary care provider questions Giving feedback to customer success and technical teams Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role: Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited residency program and fellowship if applicable Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine State licensed in Internal Medicine, obtained before your Thea Health start date Thea Health specialist provider consultants also demonstrate: A passion for human-centered care The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care Clinical proficiency in evidence-based care The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both clinicians and colleagues Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients Benefits to the work: Flexible working hours Work from home Malpractice Insurance – Malpractice fees to insure your practice at Thea Health is covered.
