At an early stage this position will be based in Madrid, having to travel overseas frequently. After this first stage there will be a long-term international assignment in any of the international projects Ferrovial currently has.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESPlans and oversees geotechnical field explorations and soil remediation programs.Manages both internal and external teams of experts.Performs visits to the working site to oversee geotechnical works and construction activities.Reviews geotechnical information of different projects during the bidding stage providing technical assistance.Prepares geotechnical reports about building, roads and railway projects.Performs soil-structure analysis, assisting in the design of shallow and deep foundations, tunnels and earth retaining structures.Expertise in Plaxis 2D software, both in modeling and in interpretation.Expertise in commercial geotechnical software packages (Rocs-cience, Ensoft, Geo-Studio, etc).SKILLS & EXPERIENCECivil Engineering or similar.5 to 10 years' experience in underground works.High English level.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated analytical skills.Willingness to travel and relocate.Ferrovial embraces diversity and inclusion, and we see the value in providing equal opportunities to all employees.
