Job Description:You will be responsible for supporting international projects in their different stages, providing technical assistance in geotechnical works. At an early stage, this position will be based in Madrid, with frequent overseas travel. After this initial stage, there will be a long-term international assignment in one of the international projects Ferrovial currently has.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESPlans and oversees geotechnical field explorations and soil remediation programs.Manages both internal and external teams of experts.Performs visits to the working site to oversee geotechnical works and construction activities.Reviews geotechnical information of different projects during the bidding stage, providing technical assistance.Prepares geotechnical reports about buildings, roads, and railway projects.Performs soil-structure analysis, assisting in the design of shallow and deep foundations and earth retaining structures.SKILLS & EXPERIENCECivil Engineering or similar.5 to 10 years' experience in underground works.High level of English.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Problem-solving skills.Demonstrated analytical skills.Willingness to travel and relocate.
