We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Application Expert to join our team in the Business Development department.
The Mission: As a GNSS Application Expert, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales team during the commercial process to boost our IoT Connectivity business solutions internationally and into a variety of sectors.
Your role will be to identify and support Sales to convert new business opportunities concerning geospatial typical applications such as landslide or geohazard by implementing GNSS or similar technology.
As this role is predominantly focused on new business, you must be a confident, sales-focused individual and be proactive in self-generating leads as well as in finding new market niches.
Moreover, you will be in charge of identifying and designing new applications by exploiting the current Worldsensing's product portfolio to offer novel solutions to solve current/new customer needs.
Finally, you will be working on multiple projects at any one time so must be able to manage your time effectively.
Tasks & Responsibilities: Build valuable relationships with customers and strengthen our position in the market with stakeholders Support the daily commercial execution of new business opportunities Actively generate new business by creating interest with new potential customers Contribute to the sales and closing process for new customer accounts Work closely with the business team Prioritize tasks and features (based on market trends and customer wishes) to be suggested for the product roadmap Represent Worldsensing in the market during events and present at conferences Basic Requirements: At least 3 years experience developing business and supporting Sales in the geospatial market and services for enterprises, government agencies and system integrators Previous experience being responsible for the management of business development opportunities and relationships with new and existing customers Fluent in English, any other languages are a bonus Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills
