This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive market penetration, brand awareness, and revenue growth in targeted geographic areas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, international market entry, and a deep understanding of the consumer healthcare industry.Key Responsibilities:Market Entry Strategy: Lead the execution of go-to-market strategies for new geographic regions, including identifying key market opportunities, analyzing market conditions, and setting clear growth objectives.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Exeltis affiliates and Consumer Healthcare marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth market entry, product availability, and regulatory compliance.Brand Localization: Oversee the adaptation of global brand positioning, messaging, and communication strategies for local markets while maintaining brand consistency across regions.Marketing Campaigns & Activation: Support local markets in development of campaigns and activation by sharing best practice across marketsStakeholder Management: Engage with local stakeholders, including Exeltis affiliates, distributors, retailers, regulatory bodies, and marketing partners, to foster strong relationships and ensure seamless market entry and growth.
Performance Tracking & Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor market performance.
Analyze sales data, partner feedback, and activity effectiveness to optimize strategies and achieve desired results.Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets and timelines for market expansion activities, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while achieving optimal ROI.Compliance & Regulatory: In partnership with the regulatory, quality and local teams, ensure that all launches comply with local regulatory requirements and healthcare industry standards.Required Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2-3 years focused on international market expansion, preferably in the consumer healthcare or FMCG sectors.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
Master's degree is a plus.Proven Expertise: Strong background in developing and executing geo-expansion strategies, identifying and negotiating with distributors.Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with both global and local cross-functional teams (marketing, regulatory and supply chain) to drive successful market entry and growth.Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to assess market performance and derive actionable insights.Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to influence and engage both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in presenting to senior executives.Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of regional market dynamics, consumer behaviors, and cultural nuances in international markets.Travel: Willingness to travel internationally to support market launches and expansion efforts.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the consumer healthcare, wellness, or OTC industry.Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools to drive consumer engagement in new markets.Fluency in additional languages is a plus (especially in key global markets).
