The technician will work together with other team members to provide various NGS services to the users of the CRG Genomics Unit.Whom would we like to hire?Professional experienceYou have two years of relevant laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques and NGS library preparation.You have experience with Agilent Bioanalyzer, Fragment Analyzer, TapeStation, or similar equipment for DNA/RNA analysis.You have experience with automated liquid handling systems.You have previous hands-on experience with Illumina sequencing instruments.Education and trainingYou hold a BSC, MSC, or PhD in Molecular Biology or a related field.LanguagesYou are fluent in English.Technical skillsYou have hands-on experience with relevant molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, DNA/RNA purification).You are familiar with MS Office.CompetencesYou are able to work in a dynamic environment.You have a flexible working attitude.The OfferContract duration: Contract linked to a leave of absence.Estimated annual gross salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and consistent with our pay scales.Target start date: As soon as possible.We provide a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructures and unique professional career development opportunities.
