Founded in 2001, Resident Advisor (RA) is one of the world's longest-running music media brands and a cornerstone of the dance, electronic and DJ ecosystem.
The site's audience of over 6 million monthly users is drawn in by a combination of news, editorial, club listings and ticketing, RA-branded events at venues and festivals worldwide, original films and a weekly mix series that has run for 18 years.Purpose of the role: Fluency in written and spoken Spanish, French and English is a requirement for this role.
The General Manager is a newly created role at RA.
It drives the growth and performance of RA in Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal during an exciting period in the company's growth.Key responsibilities:Drive performance and output of all team activities through ownership of local KPIs across commercial, growth content.Work with the Growth team, implementing the International Strategy locally in Southern Europe with direct oversight of the local GCN team.Full PL ownership for Southern Europe's team revenues (RA Pro) and expenses (headcount, operating costs and overheads).Initiate and maintain key market relationships: commercial, cultural and creative.Oversight of local Commercial/Revenue team, mentoring and training to achieve commercial targets.Responsibility for "the office": people, operations, physical spaces and culture along with the People and Culture team.Pastoral support and oversight to all Southern Europe's team staff.Represent Southern Europe to the wider company.
