Why we're hiring: We are looking for a General Ledger (GL) Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.
What you will be doing: Analyse items and detect possible recording errors on the General Accounting PlanEnsure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standardsAnalysis of financial information, guaranteeing its integrity, accuracy and consistency (balance sheet, profit and loss accounts, customer and supplier aging, management ratios)Reporting: review and reconciliation of information, loading of data into the reporting platform in compliance with a standardised structure for the whole Group. Analysis of variations and investigation of their originPerform reconciliations between accounting and auxiliary modules, accounting reconciliations of customers and suppliers and inter-company balances (detecting differences and following up on them)Prepare general accounting entries: expenses and income provisions, sales adjustments, tax regularisation, additions and removals of PPE, etc.Prepare specific reports based on data obtained from the different financial systems for presentation to managementMake recommendations focused on optimising management, improving and simplifying proceduresWhat you will need: International financial accounting or audit experienceExperience in statutory auditing and knowledge of SOX controlsKnowledge of the General Accounting plan in FranceAdvanced Excel levelLanguages: Fluent in English and FrenchWho you are: You're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
