Overview: JBT Foodtech Spain is looking for our next GL Accountant to join our Global SSC based in San Fernando de Henares.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience: Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or equivalent.2-3 years of experience in General Accounting & Accounting in a multinational company.SSC Experience.Knowledge of ERP Solutions (Syteline/SAP/JDE) and Hyperion or equivalent.Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications: Strong Accounting knowledge.US GAAP Reporting knowledge.Transactional processes and problem solving.SOX/Internal Controls knowledge.Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Data Accuracy.Strong ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to perform under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines.Problem solving.Planning and organizing.Communication and teamwork.Languages: High Level of English mandatory.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform GL daily activities, with a teamwork spirit and creating a good atmosphere within the team.Support on the daily operations of the General Ledger area: Reporting, Reconciliations, analysis, Blackline tasks.Month end closing tasks: Reporting in HFM, Consolidation, Intercompany, Accruals, Prepaid.Act as GL Expert for all other SSC teams.Guarantee that all general ledger transactions are performed under a strong internal controls framework.Ensure appropriate controls are in use so that US GAAP Financial Statements are correctly reported following JBT Financial Standards.Why work at JBT:Permanent contract.Attractive compensation package (Benefits on day 1 of your employment).Flexible schedule (3 days/week of home office).Commitment to Diversity: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging is a fundamental value to JBT and critical to our future success.
