General Ledger Accountant

Responsibilities:Manage the General Ledger, encompassing accruals, fixed assets, deferred tax, and more.Conduct balance reconciliations with precision.Act as the primary contact for VAT, Tax authorities, and annual audits.Develop and refine procedures to enhance efficiency.Utilize One Stream for seamless reporting.Engage in various projects and ad hoc tasks within the finance department.Participate in monthly/year-end closings both internally and externally.Provide exceptional service to our business partners.Qualifications:Possess a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting or equivalent with relevant experience.Demonstrate fluency in English and advanced proficiency in Excel for finance purposes.Embrace Signode Group's procedures, values, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.Take ownership of tasks within the team, adapting to dynamic changes and new guidelines, while ensuring compliance with SOX processes and utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 effectively.Foster collaboration, communication, and a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth through training and feedback.
