The role of the General Service Technician is an entry-level position focused on routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations. This position will benefit from the mentorship of an experienced automotive technician to guide you through the processes. As a General Service Technician, you are a key part of upholding the integrity and dependability of Paul Campanella's Auto Centers. The ideal candidate will have some background in automotive repair, a keen ability to learn quickly, follow directions precisely, and adhere to our shop's standards and procedures. Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Performs general automotive maintenance and repair services across many makes and models
Completes all work orders correctly and accurately
Practices safe work principles
Maintains positive customer relationships
Documents all work performed on the repair order.
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by the shop foreman and executive management team.
Ensures that customers' cars are repaired with cleanliness and quality in mind.
Notifies the shop foreman immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of a vehicle.
Keeps the shop area neat and clean and carries out assigned responsibilities relating to shop cleanliness.
Valid Driver's License
Some or limited training in automotive repair, and committed to keeping up-to-date on automotive knowledge
Some experience in vehicle maintenance, including the use of tools
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
