You will be co-responsible for the execution of the following tasks for several of our Group entities:
Executing "accounts payable" managementPreparing sales invoices and "accounts receivable" managementReconciling intercompany balancesReviewing the balance sheet and P&LPreparing auditsSupporting our international offices and groupsHelping to improve our internal processesWe are on the lookout for a new giraffe with a healthy dose of curiosity and proactiveness and who will ensure our invoices are paid on time!
We would be happy to get to know you, if you:
Have approximately 3-5 years of experience in finance and/or accountingHave knowledge and understanding of accounting, and basic knowledge of VATAre very organised, detail-oriented and have the required know-how to handle sensitive informationHave strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch and Spanish are a plus)Have a proactive mindset, enjoy working in a team, but are also sufficiently equipped to work autonomouslyAre a flexible and resourceful multi-tasker, with a good sense of humour!Package and applicationThis position is to be filled on a 36 to 40 hours per week contract, starting as soon as practicable, with a compensation package competitive with local market practice (30 paid leave days, company-sponsored pension, transportation compensation, lunch provision, annual team trips, etc.)

About The International Finance And Accounting TeamYou will be part of our finance and accounting team (approx. 10 people worldwide, of which half of the team is based in Utrecht). You will be mainly working for our Group entities in the Netherlands or Spain, though there will be international (travel) opportunities as well to/with other Green Giraffe offices across the globe.
