He/she provides support to drive tangible profit improvements by prioritizing, transforming, standardizing and optimizing Tech Data's pricing and Trade Margin management strategy, methodologies, tools and processes across our European operations. This implies improving the performance of major gross profit/Trade margin components that include Front End Margin, Backend Margin, Net Freight, Customer Rebates and Forex gains and losses. He/she interacts with country management teams, executing and coordinating assigned activities to ensure that goals or objectives of business units are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.Responsibilities :Assumes accountability for the delivery, implementation and impact of advanced standard methodologies, tools and processes aimed at providing sustainable results for major Trade Margin components such as Front End Margin, Back End Margin, Net Freight and Customer Rebates.Collaborates with key members of local and central organizations and the European Profit Management community to provide strategic, analytical and implementation support in order to address potential risks and opportunities in the area of Trade Margin.Monitors country results to identify major deviations from defined profitability plans, prioritizing immediate remediation measures and driving the implementation of the required levers jointly with local teams.Supports the European Profit Management Community that shares ideas and best practices, driving further harmonization and standardization across the region.Participates in the definition of functional specs of IT innovations related to profit management improvement opportunities liaising with TDIT and in-country business users to define priority and rollout strategy.Act as a key role model to the organization demonstrating the highest adherence to the corporation's key values of Integrity & Respect, Passion for Winning, Leadership, Ownership and Partnership.Actively oversees the company's operating policies and practices and ensures these meet and exceed where possible, all corporate requirements.Performs other duties as assigned by the Director, European Profit Management
