About the role:Sandsoft is seeking an experienced Game Platform Product Owner to lead the development and growth of our cutting-edge gaming platform. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and defining the product vision, roadmap, and features that drive the success of our platform ecosystem.
What you will do:Collaborate with game development studios, product managers, and the publishing team to understand their requirements and translate them into a compelling product vision.Define and prioritize platform features based on user needs, market trends, and business objectives.Serve as the main voice of the customer, ensuring the user perspective is heard and incorporated into product decisions.Lead the internal and external engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of platform components while maintaining high quality standards.Continuously monitor platform performance, user feedback, and market changes to identify areas for improvement and innovation.Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party software vendors and partners to enhance the platform's capabilities.Communicate the platform's value proposition to internal and external stakeholders, including game developers, publishers, and end-users.What you will bring:Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Computer Science or a related field.7+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of building and growing successful SaaS or gaming platforms.Excellent understanding of the game industry, including trends, technologies, and user behaviors.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate user requirements into product specifications.Proficient in agile methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with game development engines (Unity or Unreal Engine) and emerging technologies affecting mobile game development is highly desirable.Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the user experience.Preferred SkillsWorking knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.Familiarity with programming languages such as C# or Python.Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Next.js.Understanding of DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.Experience in UI/UX design principles and practices to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.What we offer:Opportunity to work on exciting and diverse projects.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Professional development and growth opportunities.
