The Health & Safety manager creates, updates and improves the occupational health and safety procedures aligned with the standard, and assures they are properly communicated and understood within the organization.
They ensure the implementation of the occupational health and safety procedures and help making improvements and prepare, control and check all the occupational health and safety records.
By joining us, you will be part of an international team supporting the management teams and participating in the continuous improvement of the CT Engineering Group.
Your scope will cover the Spanish sites.
Your main duties will be: Coordinates (and performs, if applicable) the assessment of occupational risks of each Job and work spaces.
Conducts the investigation of incidents.
Collaborates with the Management in the improvement of the preventive actions.
Promotes among its partners the cooperation of employees in the compliance of the occupational health and safety regulations.
Responsible for the implementation of the occupational health and safety processes and procedures.
Responsible for the communication and deployment of the occupational health and safety system.
Participates in the occupational health and safety committees, reporting system performance and objectives results.
Participates in external audits, assuring that the management system is completely deployed.
Responsible for solving timely and correctly occupational health and safety issues, non-conformities and actions related to Occupational Health and Safety System.
Conducts the monitoring and measurement of the actions carried out in matters of occupational health and safety.
Exercise surveillance and control over compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Requisitos: University education.
Master's degree in 3 specialities (including specialisations in Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía & Psicosociología) following Spanish Health and Safety regulations.
At least, 5 years of experience in health & safety role.
In-depth knowledge of Spanish occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
Familiarity with risk management techniques, safety management systems, and incident investigation methodologies.
Proficient in identifying and evaluating workplace hazards.
Skilled in conducting and documenting comprehensive risk assessments, incident/accident analysis and developing mitigation strategies.
Strong organizational skills for managing safety documentation and records.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, crucial for training employees, presenting findings, and writing reports.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, management, and external auditors.
Continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance safety processes and procedures.
Knowledge of the M365 environment (Teams, sharepoint list, etc.).
Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish (native speaker preferred).
