We are looking for an Investment Operations Trainee to join the IAA team in Barcelona.
Your Role
As an Investment Operations Trainee, your main responsibilities will involve:
Responsible for correct daily processing, posting, and clearing of securities transactions, and income payments.
Responsible for timely month end closing activities.
Net asset value (NAV) calculation for Unit Linked business and some non-Unit Linked portfolios.
Periodic reconciliation of securities holdings and cash account holdings.
Your Skills and Experience
As an Investment Operations Trainee, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is preferred.
Fundamental knowledge of most common asset classes in traditional financial instruments, risks, and markets.
Holding a CFA or similar certification would be highly valued.
FSCM/FAM/TRM-SAP Treasury/ Financial technical skills is preferred.
Client focus, combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to gain new skills and experiences, and share your knowledge across the team.
