Do you want to join our team?We are recruiting for a Trade Compliance Supervisor for EMEAI region. You will join our Global Trade Compliance team and be responsible for the implementation, ongoing maintenance, and internal review of a EMEAI based program of regulatory trade compliance and strategy with oversight over Europe, Africa, India and Middle East control activities. This role also includes the development and implementation of corporate import and export procedures, verification of internal controls, and training to ensure compliance with trade regulations, while maintaining a good relationship with the government authorities (customs and compliance) and Chamber of Commerce.As the Trade Compliance Supervisor EMEAI you will:Coordinate a network of internal control representatives within the operating and staff groups and foreign and domestic affiliates, providing guidance and oversight in Trade Compliance, imports, exports, and Intrastat reporting.Assume primary responsibility for interpreting and disseminating regulatory changes while guiding internal organizations and foreign affiliates as to their relevance and impact.Advise foreign and domestic operations on export related matters such as licensing requirements, technology transfer, origin of goods, documentation and record keeping requirements, and non-tariff trade barriers.Provide import compliance guidance on sourcing, valuation, duties and fees, entry procedures, duty exemption, inward processing relief, documentation and record keeping, and government reporting.Present compliance training and awareness to all employees dealing with international transactions at domestic and foreign locations within scope.Stimulate and supervise the establishment of procedures within each of the operating groups and affiliates and facilitating exchange of information concerning control practices.Advise the business on free trade agreements allowing us to benefit from reduced duty rates; also issue free trade declarations as requested by our customers and advise business on duty rates for various countries we ship to.Detailed involvement regarding Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestiture projects in the EMEAI region.You will have:Degree in Accounting, Business or similar, with relevant experience in Audit, Finance or Trade Compliance.Import/Export Certification is a very strong plus and a future requirement by EMEAI authorities.Experience in conducting internal audits, developing policies and procedures, and substantial experience in analyzing and recommending appropriate internal controls.Expertise in process mapping, and the use of Visio, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Familiarity with SAP and GTS is a plus.Strong interpersonal skills and effective presenter skills, both on paper and in front of people.Interest in maintaining an expertise in trade regulations and the ability to simplify complex regulatory issues.Command of business English and Spanish is needed.
