We are looking for a Financial Data and Process Analyst to join our Finance Center of Excellence Team within our Global Accounting Organization based in Barcelona.
Our team consists of a group of experts that are stewards of our financial data.
Together, we manage tools, systems, processes, and governance for Accounting, globally.
The incumbent will support the global Air Products' finance and business communities on SAP related activities.
As Financial Data and Process Analyst, you will: Work as an Expert for SAP Finance area, acting as a liaison between Finance and Information Technology to resolve issues and implement solutions that streamline and automate work processes.Be the first point of contact for Managers and Employees with questions, changes, or enhancements relating to SAP Finance Master Data and work processes.Perform ongoing operational activities including month-end, year-end close, and new year startup.Maintain finance master data with the highest level of data accuracy and integrity.Provide guidance to finance personnel about SAP Finance functionality and work processes.Act as Power User for SAP Finance Area, providing training, problem resolution, and expert advice on the correct procedures to be followed.Participate in projects such as business integrations and divestitures, organization restructuring, EMOC (Management of Change), and automation-improvement projects.You will have: College Degree in Accounting or similar function.2 to 3 years of experience in a Finance organization.Understanding of financial systems and tools, data flows, processes, and reporting capabilities (e.g., SAP, Business Warehouse, Qlik Sense, Excel).Strong oral and written English language communications skills, including the ability to understand and describe the needs of the Finance organization to members of IT.A self-starter who is organized and has the initiative to prioritize multiple projects with strict deadlines.Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and tool use while involving key stakeholders.A creative thinker who can identify new opportunities and envision how tools might best be used to meet requirements.A growth mindset, embracing tools and technology, and staying current with technology trends.What we offer: At Air Products, we work in an environment where diversity is essential, inclusion is our culture, and each person knows they belong and matter.
