We are looking for a Risk Management Consultant to join our team located in Barcelona.
Our core expertise is in the management of major accident hazards in capital-intensive complex industries.
In response to the energy transition, we are also increasingly working with clients in the renewables and power industries.
As the successful applicant, you will provide support to a range of clients and sectors both locally and globally.
You will also be part of our development of best practices, finding new and creative ways to improve our ways of working.
ResponsibilitiesDeveloping functional twins of complex industrial processes with our advanced simulation tools to support the design of new facilities and existing operations.Facilitate CLIENT process safety and operability review workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, BowTie, FMEA, alarm management.Developing performance standards and update of quantitative risk assessment for both onshore and offshore industry.Process safety and risk assessment.Fire safety and structural integrity.Consequence modelling (2D and/or 3D modelling).Safety management systems, emergency preparedness, and emergency response plans.Barrier management.Third-party verifications/audits.QualificationsTo be successful in the role of Risk Management Consultant, we are looking for you to have:
A master's degree within engineering or related discipline, e.g., chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, process/risk management.Be a strong team player with the ability to handle multiple projects/tasks.Fluency in Spanish and English languages.The following experience is desired but is not a prerequisite:
Experience within oil and gas, (petro)chemicals, or energy industry.Consulting, engineering, or operator experience within oil and gas, (petro)chemicals, or energy industry preferred.Process simulation and digital twin experience will be a plus.Basic understanding of process safety and risk management activities related to greenfield and brownfield projects.Conversant with engineering documentation such as PIDs, PFDs, H&MBs, C&E Charts, SRS, etc.What we can offer youA competitive salary and good benefits package according to your level of experience.
