We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Secondary to lead our dedicated and enthusiastic team of educators.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of our secondary school, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care.
The role involves leadership, strategic planning, staff development, and promoting a positive school culture.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Secondary School, including curriculum development, teaching standards, and student outcomes.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional well-being.Develop and implement strategies to improve student achievement and monitor progress.Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of secondary school staff.Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to promote the school's vision and values.Manage budgets, resources, and timetabling for the secondary school.Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.Ensure compliance with British and international educational standards, policies, and regulations.Essential Qualifications and Experience:Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in education or related field.Significant leadership experience in a secondary school, preferably in an international or British setting.Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and/or international education frameworks.Experience in managing and mentoring staff, with a proven track record in driving school improvement.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Desirable Qualities:Experience in working within an international or multicultural environment.Ability to speak Spanish (desirable but not essential).Passion for education, leadership, and personal growth.WHAT WE OFFER:Full time.Permanent Contract from September 2025 onwards.A free lunch every day
