Enhance knowledge and expertise of the global supply quality network by organizing and leading a global community of Supply Quality Engineers sharing know-how and training on LSF and welding.Product and Process Qualification: Mostly be the technical Lead, and sometimes the main lead, in multi-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) on commodity parts.Be a key authority in improving suppliers and supporting critical technical issues by being a creator and owner of a commodity/technology network.At least 5-8 years professional experience in an area of supplier quality management, procurement and LSF and welding.Experience performing supplier qualifications, product/process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global quality-assured and cost-effective supply base.
Experience in APQP4Wind and PPAP is an advantage.Experience in leading projects and running virtual multi-functional teams in an international environment.
Self-starter, driven and self-reliant; your organizational, strategic, analytical thinking, leadership skills and intercultural expertise round up your profile.Extensive knowledge in welding of carbon steel and the fabrication of large steel components.
IWE certification preferred.
FROSIO certification preferred.
NDT level 2 certification preferred. Be familiar with EN ISO 3834, EN 1011 series and EN ISO 1090 requirements.
Willing to ask questions, proactively get in touch with others to communicate, be open-minded, look for problems proactively and mitigate, have personal drive and growth.
Be fluent (writing and speaking) in English, willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time.
Must have or be able to obtain a passport.
