Mission of the Position Responsible for managing requests from national and international clients for any hotel in the Cluster of Groups in the Balearic Islands. Advises the client and guides the requests according to their needs and those of our hotels, preparing and sending the budget and following up on it until the event is contracted, in order to make the correct transfer to the hotel's operation.
What Will You Do? Quote and follow up of groups and events for the Balearic Islands Cluster, and once confirmed transfer it to the operational department of each hotel. Review and ensure that negotiations, client contracts and credit policies are carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures established by MHI. Achieve the Business Plan for the MICE segment set by the company in each of the hotels in the Balearic zone (room revenue, rooms, F&B; and Audios). Update, manage and control the group business and its database, ensuring that the information available is as up to date as possible in the FOCUS system and in the PMS's, reporting any incident to the specific department. Follow up and comply with the pricing strategy and MICE segmentation previously defined between Sales and revenue of the area. Maintain fluid and correct communication with the Group Operations team in each hotel (Conference/Banqueting) and update them on issues related to their functions/responsibilities (site inspections, specific set-ups, etc.). Attend those site inspections that, due to value or client profile, require his/her presence. Alert the Area Director of Sales of visits in which he/she must also participate and assess the exceptional presence of the CO Director and/or the Managing Director. What Are We Looking For? 2 years experience in the position. University Degree in Tourism, ADE. Basic knowledge, PMS (Opera Cloud, Sihot) CRM Focus. User level knowledge in office package. Ability to work as part of a team, organisation, planning, results oriented. High level of English (oral and written) and 2nd language considered (French, German or Italian).
