ACL provides dedicated technical support services to a range of businesses and institutions across industries such as Healthcare, Hospitality, Education, Stadia, and Heritage.
We are looking to appoint a number of Fire and Security Apprentices for our Apprenticeship Training Programme.Working within a structured 3-year apprenticeship program, you will learn how to install and maintain a range of fire life safety and security systems within large-scale business premises across London and the southeast.
Attending college on block release, you will be taught the required regulatory knowledge, design principles, and technical skills to work comfortably on some of the most complex and advanced systems within the industry.
To complement your college learning, you will be exposed to and trained in a variety of different roles from containment and cabling installation, 2nd fix installation and commissioning, fault finding and rectification, routine servicing, and maintenance.ACL invests heavily in their Apprentices and continues to train and support qualified engineers throughout their careers.
The vast majority of our Supervisors and Managers have trained within the business, so there are a number of options to further develop and progress within the business.What we will expect from youObserving, learning, and understanding a wide range of engineering skills and techniques while under the supervision and instruction of our skilled engineering team.Learning the importance of Health and Safety and working responsibly within controlled environments.Following instructions with great attention to detail and care, as you learn new skills, demonstrating that you can perform complex tasks with a high degree of precision.Maintaining a smart appearance and acting in a professional manner at all times.Working to support your engineering team by completing all tasks allocated to you, including maintaining good housekeeping of the workplace, tooling, and facilities.Completing all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at College and gathering any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.Completing an annual assessment at college and taking part in any additional manufacture-based training courses that the company requires you to complete.Coordinating with your engineering team and planning your journeys to and from the site to ensure that you are always on time and well prepared for the task at hand with all required PPE.About usAs a dedicated division of Marlowe Critical Services, ACL aspires to create safe, secure, and sustainable spaces that have a positive influence on the lives of colleagues, clients, and the communities we work in.

Pay is then reviewed annually in line with inflation, government guidelines, and your individual progression.
