[G007] Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team for a 10-month assignment to our Marseille (France) based projects.
Main Responsibilities Include:Completion of assembly models with installation sequence for Diagnostics, Fuelling systems, In-service inspection, Internal components and Vacuum vessel instrumentation.Installation of TF mapping system, including feedthroughs in closure plates up to interface within Tokamak Complex.Installation of VS coils, including detailed definition of the scope / contractual interfaces between the VS Winding Contractor (contact placed) and the Final Mechanical installations contract.Minimum Requirements:MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.At least 20 years' professional experience in manufacturing and assembly of components and systems in fusion or research projects.At least 15 years' professional experience of the assembly of tokamaks.Detailed knowledge of tolerances and large volume metrology.At least 15 years' professional experience of the preparation of manufacturing and / or construction drawings.At least 15 years' professional experience in preparing technical specifications and documentation associated with procurement, international tendering, and contract administration for complex construction contracts.Detailed knowledge of procedures for working with beryllium and beryllium-contaminated environments.Prior knowledge of and experience on the ITER project.Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
