.Demand Manager Automotive OEMHybrid position (3 days in the office and 2 days from home).
Automotive OEM Demand Manager is part of the EMEA Industrial Segment Demand Team, reporting to the EMEA Demand Planning Director, inside the Supply Chain Organization.As Demand Manager, you will be responsible for driving the demand processes within the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process with primary scope of collecting and challenging short, medium, and long-term forecasts from sales and formally passing this information to supply chain, being responsible for the accuracy together with the Sales teams and driving improvement plans.
You will align with Finance on Financial plans.You will lead the MSO (Market Sign Off) on a monthly basis for each of the markets/accounts responsible for, as well as lead a reconciliation process to EMEA level.
The Demand Manager shares responsibility, with the rest of the supply chain organization, on inventory value optimization, SSPL, and costs minimization.
You will drive forecast accuracy increase, reduce bias, and be the owner of the Service Level Agreement sign-off process, favoring the alignment between business expectations and total supply chain costs control.Key ResponsibilitiesBe the key driver of the demand review process, a strategic element of SIOP by interacting with business, marketing, product management, and finance; collect input from Product reviews; prepare and manage MSO (Market Sign Off) by business areas in volume and value; provide demand input for PSO (Production Sign Off process) at plant level.Responsible for collecting 12 months rolling forecasts, managing new launches and run out, and building scenarios including opportunities and vulnerabilities in the pipeline, understanding and managing implications, at the scope of maximizing service and preventing/reducing supply chain costs impact.Collect 24 to 36 months forecast for medium - long term capacity analysis.Be responsible for forecast tool management and data integrity maintenance.Implement improved methods like statistical forecasting and the use of IBP to support improvements and reconciliation process.Manage a monthly demand reconciliation process taking bottom-up forecast, consolidate it and assess versus market indicators and budget, suggest adjustments for improved accuracy and bias.
Sign off with commercial director.Support BSR's, RBR's, and Profit Plan, translating business input into meaningful input for Supply Chain on demand projections.Proactively interact with supply chain and logistics for changes in demand, to optimize inventory, reduce freight, and SSPL.Identify and propose, through analysis of demand, opportunities for SKU rationalization, supply flow changes, production relocation/localization
