Fund Accounting Manager

Our client is a leader in accounting, administration, and transfer agency services for investment funds.As a Private Equity Manager, you will be responsible for leading the relationship of a portfolio of private equity clients, responsible for reviewing client NAVs.You will work with close-ended funds specializing in private equity, private debt, real estate, and venture capital.Title: Private Equity ManagerContract: PermanentLocation: Valencia, SpainSalary: Starts at €42,000Work Model: HybridVisa Sponsorship: NoResponsibilities:Management of a portfolio of client relationshipsReviews and approves net asset valuations, capital activity, general ledger, cash reconciliations, income, and expenses.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.Manages year-end audits and tax reporting with clients and auditors, ensuring timely completion of fieldwork.Reviews financial statements and distribution waterfall calculations.Identifies and implements solutions to enhance processes, communication, efficiency, and workflows.Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Investor Services) to align processes with client needs.Provide clients with technical accounting and industry knowledge.Minimum Qualifications:At least 3 years of experience in the fund industry.At least 2 years of experience in managing client relationships, deliverables, and communication.In-depth knowledge of closed-ended funds is required.Strong knowledge of accounting concepts.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Experience with distribution waterfalls and carried interest calculations.Prior experience with PFS-Paxus is desired, but not required.Accounting designation desired, but not required.Benefits:Health InsuranceRelocation packageBonusAssistance with moving to Spain essentials
