What will be your responsibilities?
Plan and execute comprehensive functional safety assessments.
Evaluate safety work products to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
Verify closure of assessment findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Create detailed assessment reports aligned with customer milestones.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of assessment tasks.
Maintain accurate records of all assessment activities and outcomes.
Coach and mentor new joiners to ensure their successful integration into the team.
What do we expect from you?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in system/software/hardware design and development.
Minimum 3 years of functional safety implementation in automotive ECU development.
Experience with risk analysis, FMEDA, FTA, and other safety assessment methods.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Project and task coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Ideally, you'll also have ASPICE knowledge or ASPICE provisional assessor status.
Professional functional safety engineer certification (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
International working experience with global customers.
German language is a plus.
