Details of the Assignment: A warm and friendly family based in Sant Cugat is actively seeking a loving and nurturing maternity nanny to care for their baby born in October 2023. This position is on a live-out basis, requiring the maternity nanny to already be in Barcelona or nearby and capable of commuting daily. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 7 PM, and on Fridays, from 9 AM to 4 PM. The maternity nanny must be able to communicate in English, with Spanish and Catalan considered a bonus.
Both parents work professionally; dad follows a hybrid work model, alternating working between at home and at the office, while the mum is currently on maternity leave and plans to return to work in a few months. The family would like the maternity nanny to focus on the child during the first year and expects the maternity nanny to take on all child-related responsibilities, including bathing, dressing, sterilizing baby bottles, tidying the nursery, and managing the baby's laundry. Between September 2024 and September 2025, the family plans to enroll the baby in nursery full time. During this transition, they would appreciate the maternity nanny's assistance with household tasks. While not mandatory, the family values a candidate with childcare and/or maternity qualifications, contributing to the child's early developmental stages.
