OverviewAs a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of the development team, with a strong focus on both backend (Java) and frontend (Angular, HTML, CSS) technologies. You will play a pivotal role in the overall architecture and design of applications, ensuring that both the frontend and backend components are seamlessly integrated and optimized for performance. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership across the entire development stack, including both frontend and backend technologies.Architecture and Design: Oversee the design and architecture of the software systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Lead the development of both Java-based backend services and Angular-based frontend applications.Full-Stack Development: Actively participate in the development process, contributing to both frontend (Angular, HTML, CSS) and backend (Java) codebases. Ensure that the integration between the frontend and backend is efficient and reliable.Team Mentorship: Mentor and guide team members in both frontend and backend development practices. Promote best practices in coding, design patterns, and software development methodologies.Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software that meets business objectives.Code Quality and Review: Establish and enforce coding standards across the team. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and high-quality output.Project Management: Assist in planning and managing development projects, including task estimation, resource allocation, and timeline management.Continuous Innovation: Keep up to date with the latest trends in both frontend and backend technologies. Drive the adoption of new tools, techniques, and methodologies that can improve the development process and product quality.Candidate ProfileEducation: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development, with significant experience in both Java (backend) and Angular (frontend) development. Previous experience in a leadership or technical lead role is highly desirable.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers, with a focus on fostering collaboration and technical excellence.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.Technical Skills:Java 8+ developerSpring BootAngular 17Rest patternsCSSSQL.
