What you'll do As a Full Stack Engineer on the Globalization Platform team, you'll develop frontend solutions for internationalization including tooling and libraries, directly impacting Stripe's global expansion.
You'll shape the team's frontend strategy, collaborate across the organization, and contribute to unlocking new markets.

Responsibilities Develop and implement frontend components for our globalization platform, focusing on creating an intuitive user experience for localization workflows.Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of frontend libraries and components used across Stripe for globalization efforts.Assist in creating frontend integration strategies, making it easier for other teams to incorporate localization features into their projects.Work with cross-functional teams to implement globalization best practices in frontend development.Participate in bug fixes and performance improvements for existing frontend systems related to localization and internationalization.Help develop and maintain documentation for globalization tools and best practices.Contribute to code reviews and collaborate with team members to maintain high code quality standards.Stay informed about frontend technologies and internationalization trends, suggesting improvements when appropriate.Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.

Minimum requirements 3-5 years of frontend engineering experience, with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and state management solutions.Familiarity with building and maintaining frontend components or libraries.Basic understanding of internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) concepts in frontend development.Experience with frontend build tools, module bundlers, and package managers.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug frontend issues.Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Preferred qualifications Exposure to full-stack development, particularly with Node.js or Ruby on Rails.Experience with TypeScript or other statically typed languages for frontend development.Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques.Basic understanding of web accessibility standards.Experience with automated testing for frontend applications.Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts.
