WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHThis position is based on a portfolio that develops digital services in close cooperation with Porsche AG to further develop digital marketing and digital sales - in particular the sales of our Porsche vehicles online and the Global Porsche website.
You will be part of a fully dedicated, international and cross-location Product Team with the mission to provide the fastest and most convenient navigation across all Porsche applications, where users can find anything about Porsche.
WHAT YOU WILL DOWork hands-on implementing our product through modern frontend and backend technology (Stencil, Vue.js, React.js, Node.js).Implement and maintain our software architecture for durability and quality.Develop new features alongside customer feedback and data.Lead and coach the other software engineers in the team, and work closely with the other teams in the Agile Release Train.Define the rules of play on how we build a durable and scalable product.Development and implementation of web-interfaces, backend services and APIs to existing services and integration of other ecosystem assets and capabilities.Strong focus on website performance (mobile and desktop), as well as accessibility.Work following the principles of DevOps with regards to writing maintainable code, reusability of infrastructure and components, and continuously deploying our software into test and productive environments.Persistent work to create and sustain premium Porsche-like quality and security of our product through modern quality tools and processes.You will be an active part of an agile team, take over product responsibility, work closely with other teams in the digital ecosystem at Porsche, integrate crucial assets and capabilities as well as scale the product.WHAT YOU BRING ALONGYou have a master's degree in software engineering, information technology or alike and at least 2 years of experience in software engineering.A keen interest in automated testing.You know how to develop resilient cloud-first applications, ideally on AWS.You're preferred development language is JavaScript, ideally also in TypeScript, and your expertise is focused mainly as Front End.Knowledge of software security standards, threat assessment and secure programming methodologies.You have experience with API management systems, and you know how to write API-first services.Experience with modern CMS, and related tooling (forms, content hub, exm) would be an asset.You follow the principles of DevOps.You are a team player being part of an agile team, actively taking care of team culture and the product value towards our customers.You are a great communicator, with tech and non-tech people.Our company language is English, so you should speak it fluently.If you are a contributor to the open-source community, please don't hesitate to share your GitHub profile beforehand.WHAT WE OFFERFull time permanent contract.Competitive salary.26 days paid vacation.Hybrid and flexible working model.Training budget that you can use however you consider best.Available language classes (English, Spanish, German).Free snacks, fresh fruit and drinks at our office canteen.No dress-code, pick the outfit that makes you feel most comfortable.Access to our benefits: these can include health insurance, Ticket Restaurant, gym pass, kindergarten, amongst others.The possibility to make a real impact.If you are enthusiastic about Tech, prefer to get things done instead of starting thousands of things, love to provide support as a team player, look for taking on challenges, pioneering, adventurous but determined, open for learnings, contributing ideas, and you're a good citizen (leave codebase cleaner than when you found it), we would love you to join our Team!
