Introduction: Your Role and Responsibilities
Develop web applications and developer tooling to improve documentation and other resources for using IBM Quantum software. Collaborate with other software engineers, designers, and product managers to add new functionality and fix issues. Invest in code quality and contribute to creating sustainable technical infrastructure. Communicate with stakeholders, such as product managers, technical writers, users, and subject matter experts to implement required features and fixes to improve the platform.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field OR equivalent experience.Experience with modern programming languages, especially Typescript and Python.Experience with frontend web frameworks such as Next.js, React.js or Vue.js.Experience using git (preferably GitHub) for version control.Ability to work efficiently as part of a globally distributed team.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise: Experience contributing to open-source projects.Experience with Python documentation software, such as Sphinx.Knowledge of Agile methodology and/or experience working in an Agile development team.Experience implementing platform analytics software, such as Segment.
