Day-to-day you will provide requirements gathering, Salesforce administration, building configuration, reports and dashboards, project managing more complex initiatives and leading user training.
Role and Responsibilities - Drive the requirements gathering process, working with clients and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements.
- Interact with business users across all functional areas in Teladoc Health.
- Develop user stories and future state process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions.
- Communicate complex business needs into clear, actionable systems requirements, researches and evaluates alternative solutions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to design a solution that will meet Teladoc's business requirements and fulfill user stories.
- Document requirements in the form of use cases.
- Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed.
- Design and participate in end-user acceptance testing.
- Present solution options to customer, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner on requirements, business value scoring and success metrics.
- Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements.
- Identify gaps and analyze downstream impacts of business requirements and make recommendations for improvements and/or additional requirements within assigned business areas.
- Participate in key meetings with clients including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
- Develop organizational change management framework, communication, training, and post implementation support in conjunction with the Salesforce team.
- Demonstrate an understanding of technical details and solutions.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new business requests.
- Maintain updated system documentation and related SFDC policies/procedures.
- Execute declarative configuration changes.
- Participate in training content development and Administrator and end-user training delivery.
- Manage, control and monitor related projects in terms of scope definition, elaborate a plan, track project progress and identify and solve issues to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with other agile and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in day-to-day basis for medical platform in troubleshooting, incident, and problem resolution.
Skill Requirements/Preferences - Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other related field required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with the Salesforce platform.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business requirements gathering activities.
- Salesforce Administrator certified.
- Salesforce Administrator or App Builder experience - preferred.
- Able to demonstrate proven core Salesforce Admin skills and knowledge, including user management, workflows/process builder/validation rules, page layouts and custom object configuration, Site and Community administration.
- Experience working with other Salesforce Administrators, Salesforce Developers and Salesforce Partners.
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
- Ability to participate in declarative system configuration when necessary.
- Self-motivated and able to work both with the team, and independently.
- Excellent written, visual (on-camera remote) and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture as well as Salesforce process defaults and data structures.
- Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, translate high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Able to partner with non-technical business leaders to translate their needs into a solution.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
