Descripción completa del empleoJoin our team in Barcelona as an Artificial Intelligence Lead and be responsible for creating business value from data and strategizing with all business functions to support Omya's digital transformation. It designs, plans, oversees, and enhances the organization's data management functions.
ResponsibilitiesTake a hands-on approach to leading and managing the development and implementation of AI strategies and initiatives across the organization.Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of AI technologies, aiming to improve business outcomes, optimize operations, and foster a culture of innovation.Be responsible for developing and governing our data strategy to propel business and product development through a data-driven decision-making journey. This includes creating AI products, procedures, and policies, and collaborating with various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets.Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement the company's AI strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.Lead a team of AI specialists, data scientists, engineers, and developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive innovation and achieve departmental goals.Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AI projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, privacy, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of AI solutions, conducting regular assessments and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesEducation: Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or similar areas. A Master's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology, advanced studies in Data Science/Analytics is desirable but not mandatory. Certifications in AI, data science, or project management (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty) are a plus.
Experience: Proven 8 years of experience in AI strategy development, implementation, and project management within a multinational corporation or similar environment.
