YBVR HQ is based in San Jose, CA, with an R&D Center based in Madrid and commercial teams in Japan and Singapore.About the roleAs a QA Engineer, you have a head for processes, an eye for detail, and love being the first to try out new immersive video experiences. As a member of the YBVR Quality Assurance team, you will play a key role in delivering new features working with cutting-edge immersive technologies, and moreover getting inside the VR world with the most advanced video streaming technologies. You will ensure that our unique technologies not only make possible what the rest of the industry thinks as impossible, but that we do it consistently with reliability and quality. You will work in a very dynamic environment with an incredibly positive vibe and with a range of people from product managers and designers to developers and business analysts to bring new features into the world. And you will simultaneously help to shape our quality practices with the rest of the QA team.What will you do?Perform exploratory tests across the entire stack of technologies to ensure an exceptional user experience for our VR app, mobile apps (Android and iOS), and web.Work with product managers and UX designers to refine features and contribute to requirements.Provide test feedback and pair up with developers to test the features throughout the development process.Keep an overview of bug reports and prioritize them in collaboration with the team.Manage our manual test suites.Analyze other areas of low coverage and enhance the test plan to cover them.Support the developers maintaining our automated test suites.Explore and pilot novel test automation solutions for potential implementation in the test stack.Advocate for good QA practices and Quality Assurance mindset across the entire development team.Set up the laboratory configurations.You will be successful in this position if youHave proven experience providing quality assurance for high-quality Android, iOS, and web apps (2+ years).Can investigate the root cause of bugs and document them consistently.Love to understand every detail of a product and its impact on our users.Believe quality is a collective effort rather than one person's responsibility.Have strong analytical skills, are highly self-driven, reliable, and keen to learn.Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.Are used to working in an Agile environment
