Who are we looking for?We are looking for a Head of Cloud and Operations with a passion for cloud, technology, and AI, and a drive for growing and scaling team and processes to join and lead our Cloud & Operations team. This is a full-time position based in Stockholm.What you will be doing:Lead and manage the Cloud & Ops team across all key functions (cloud engineering, DevOps, ops, support) - bring senior technical leadership and experience as well as everyday management.Take personal ownership of all development and operations for the team and ensure that all work meets user and commercial objectives, is delivered on time, to budget, and to the quality standards agreed.Work with the CTO, Head of R&D, Head of Explorations, Chief SW Architect, and technical leads across DevOps, Ops & Support, to deliver a clear technology infrastructure strategy to support our products and services.Manage and grow the team - be the coach and mentor helping in personal and professional growth, identify and build/enhance processes, scale, and expand the team.Ensure modern best practices are being adopted in terms of Infrastructure Architecture, Continuous Delivery and Integration, Deployment, Security, Operations, and 1st to 3rd level Support.Continue the journey of building cross-functional agile teams (squads) working across areas such as Product Management, Innovation, R&D, DevOps, Customer Success, and Customer Support - increasing innovation and accelerating the rollout of features and enhancements to our users.Manage and coordinate all Cloud and Ops projects and deliverables across all functions, especially overseeing the overall coordination as part of the wider Products & Technology services and products.Work with team members and leads within Cloud and Ops - coaching and assisting team members with a pragmatic and hands-on approach in projects and squads.How we imagine you:Team leader: Builds team and individuals, builds process and collaboration in team and cross-functional.Technical leader: Sets and drives (and ongoingly updates/adapts) technology vision.Proactivity: Resourceful, has grit, and a positive 'can do' attitude; acts without being told what to do.Flexible/adaptable: Cool with rapidly changing priorities and projects.Follow-through: On items without being managed.Calm under pressure: Able to navigate and lead the team through high-priority last-minute requests and other high-stress situations; works well under high-pressure timelines.Analytical: Likes learning and learns quickly.Communicative: Able to speak clearly and with intent.We are a great match if you have:5+ years in a similar role with experience both as a technology leader and team leader.Strong agile development background and history of building teams to work in highly agile & cross-functional environments.Strong operational background and experience - leading teams operating cloud services 24/7.Good people and line management skills and ability to recruit and develop a high-performing team.Experience, as part of a cross-functional product development group, leading and motivating remote highly talented teams ensuring that modern technology and processes are implemented.Solid technical background, with hands-on experience in automated; agile environments delivering infrastructure, monitoring, and tooling to high-traffic services.Experience building/enhancing continuous delivery and continuous integration services.A passion for infrastructure as code and associated automation and provisioning tools.Let's not forget about language skills:Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Any additional language(s) is a plus.Take a look at the Perks & Benefits of working with us!International environment with diverse nationalities working in a collaborative and agile way.If wished - Hybrid work from home setup with remote budget.Fresh fruits, cookies, coffee & drinks when you are in the office.Onsite and offsite team activities/events.Flexible working hours.Ad hoc benefits, depending on the country where you are based.Training time & budget.
