About the role:In this role, you will deepen your understanding of React, learning about components, hooks, state management, and the lifecycle of components to create modular, reusable parts. You will also become proficient in Jira for managing tasks, sprints, and projects in agile software development.
Your skills in version control and collaboration will be enhanced through GitHub, where you'll learn to version code, collaborate with developers, and manage repositories. Additionally, you will use Figma to support user interface design, allowing you to visualize and implement visual aspects in React applications in coordination with designers.
Finally, you will gain knowledge of the financial world, including its terminology, processes, and regulations, equipping you to develop applications suited to financial contexts. This role will enhance your technical abilities, project management skills, and industry-specific knowledge, making you a versatile and well-rounded developer.
Please note: Applicants must live in Girona or nearby areas. Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain modular, reusable components in React applications. Componentisation facilitates code organisation and maintenance, allows for the reuse of user interface pieces, and improves project scalability.Perform specific tasks within the project, which may include bug fixing, implementing new features, and refactoring parts of the code.Work closely with different teams, such as backend, DevOps, and QA, to ensure smooth integration and high quality in product development.Synchronise with backend developers to integrate APIs, work with the DevOps team to deploy and monitor applications, and cooperate with QA to ensure the final product meets quality standards. Qualifications & Experience:Currently involved in a Computer Engineering, or a related field.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.Eagerness to learn and thrive within a dynamic organisation.English: fluent level (spoken and written) Skills & Expected Behaviours:Javascript: A solid knowledge of JavaScript is essential, as it is the programming language used in React and most front-end development.HTML and CSS: Knowledge of HTML and CSS for building and styling web pages.React (nice to have): Although not mandatory, having prior knowledge of React is an advantage.
