Job Description We are seeking a talented and passionate Front-End Developer with expertise in React and Next.js to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-performance, scalable web applications and a keen interest in generative AI, cloud technologies, and geospatial data.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-quality hybrid applications using React and Next.js.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.Integrate Generative AI models and cloud processing capabilities into front-end applications.Work with geospatial data to create interactive and visually appealing maps and features.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.Qualifications Requirements: Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a focus on React and Next.js.Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.Knowledge of generative AI concepts and cloud processing technologies.Experience working with geospatial data and mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Preferred Qualifications: Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation using Next.js.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.Verisk Analytics is an equal opportunity employer.
