About the role:As a Frontend Engineer, you are a key player in our tech team, driving the development of user interfaces that power fundcraft's digital-native platform. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to translate business needs into robust, high-performance web applications. You will also collaborate on maintaining and optimising our AWS-based production infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Frontend Engineer with a strong background in modern frontend development to join our team. The candidate should be skilled in translating design concepts into high-quality, scalable React components, and have experience with tools such as Redux, Axios, and redux-saga. You will thrive in Agile environments, actively contribute to technical discussions about AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and be driven by a passion for innovation. This position is based in Girona, Spain, and reports to our Lead Frontend Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and enhance user interfaces, bringing ideas to life through React and modern web technologies.Participate in development sprints, contributing to planning, design, and delivery of new features and enhancements.Translate Figma designs into reusable, high-quality React components, maintaining consistency and scalability using Storybook.Implement state management solutions using Redux, handle API interactions with Axios, and manage side effects with redux-saga.Oversee and review pull requests from fellow engineers, ensuring high code quality, adherence to standards, and efficient performance.Integrate external libraries and tools such as WYSIWYG editors, Docusign, and ReactFlow to enhance the platform's functionality. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Frontend EngineerProven experience with ReactJS/Redux in production environments, along with integrating and working with RESTful APIsStrong understanding of core front-end technologies: HTML, CSS frameworks (such as Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.), and JavaScriptFluency in both spoken and written EnglishFluency in both spoken and written Spanish Skills & Expected Behaviours:Strong knowledge of modern frontend development tools and frameworks, with a focus on delivering efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers, to deliver cohesive solutions.Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges, with an ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimise web applications.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and priorities.Take full responsibility for your tasks, from concept to implementation, and be willing to review and improve upon your work continuously.
