After traveling the world aboard my ship, I know how important it is for you, traveler, to have a friend in every place. I am happy to share with you the wonders of this hotel and the beautiful Rotterdam I want you to know me and make me want to return!
I propose a journey through time, the history of Holland and its colonies. During your stay in this hotel located in an old spice store, you will be surrounded by the scent of India. Located in the port area of Rotterdam, you can stroll along the Wilhelmina Pier, one of the most regenerated in the city and now hosts a multitude of cultural and design options.
This place is one of the few historical remains that remain in the well-known Dutch Manhattan, where you can walk between buildings of the renowned architects Rem Koolhaas, Norman Foster or Renzo Piano.
I am sure that once on board, you will not want to leave this hotel. But relax, I will be here to take you and take you to know the most incredible corners of the city.
To make this experience even more amazing I am looking for my Front Office trainee to join the preopening team and to help me finalize my home which i expect to open 2nd Quarter 2018.
The Front Desk is the first and last contact between the hotel and the customers. It is also the core of the customer care during their stay. Therefore the Front Office trainee should ensure the correct operation of the front desk department. He/She should follow the standards of quality and services defined by the Central Offices and deliver all with a smile!
Our mission is to make our guests (Room Mates) feel at home and exceed their expectations by providing the best possible service. The Front Office trainee together with the Front Office team is crucial in achieving this!

Job Requirements
The ideal Roomie to join me on board is looking for a pratical MBO or HBO of Hotel Management School traineeship for at least 5 months.
I am always busy and I love languages so my Front Office trainee should speak perfect English and Dutch.
Further I expect my Front Office trainee to be flexible and able to work on shift including weekends on rotation.
Having experience with Opera is a pré.
