We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and skilled Senior Front End Engineer to join our growing engineering team at the WhereTo Lab in Barcelona. This is an exciting chance to be a crucial part of the team leading the return to travel. Build and maintain UI components with a focus on performance, scalability, and usability.Lead and assist the Front-End team in coding with performance, scalability, and usability in mind.Work extensively with the virtual-DOM, pure reducers, and immutable data structures.4+ years of professional software development experience (internships and personal projects not included).2+ years of experience with React.js or other web frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, Ember, etc.).Experience with state containers (Redux, Alt, Flux).Solid understanding of HTML5, particularly with IE quirks.Familiarity with Agile development and TDD/BDD methodologies.Strong understanding of Git fundamentals.Bonus: Experience with pure-functional programming (Ramda, Lo-Dash FP, etc.) or interest in full-stack development.At WhereTo, we believe in a fun and supportive work environment:
