Runnymede College is a private non-denominational British school in Madrid offering a British education to boys and girls of all nationalities from the age of two to eighteen. The education offered follows the British National Curriculum.
The school is looking to recruit a part time French specialist teacher to prepare pupils for the French language proficiency DELF (B2) and DALF (C1) examinations. The candidate will also work as a language assistant to prepare pupils for their IGCSE and A Level examinations. This post is for a January 2025 start date. The successful applicant will have:
a good honours degreea PGCE or equivalent qualified teacher status for French language teachingexcellent teamwork skills and be willing to collaborate on planning and resourcingthe ability to modify learning strategies to target the needs of individual studentshigh expectations of pupils' effort and behaviour, and facilitate this with proven classroom management skillsbe organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlinesbe motivated and use initiative to contribute to success of the departmentbe a native level French speakerhave a good working knowledge of ICT systems and the application of ICT in the classroomPlease complete the TES online application form and attach your CV and covering letter.
