Accertify Strategic Risk Services Accertify is a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Express and a leading provider of digital identity, fraud prevention, and chargeback management solutions to merchant customers worldwide.
Accertify's suite of products and services helps e-commerce companies grow their business by driving down the total cost of fraud, simplifying business processes, and ultimately increasing revenue.
Our Fraud Analysts help facilitate Accertify's overall mission of delivering exceptional digital experiences by researching and decisioning on high risk e-commerce transactions for Clients across all industries.

Strategic Risk Services started as a team of 8 in 2009 and has quickly grown to a team of 150+.
Our growth is due to overwhelming commitment to meet and exceed Client expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Works well with a team of industry experts to monitor real-time fraud decisioning softwareIndependently resolves problems that require in depth investigation and/or researchConstantly communicates fraud trends and shares best practices with peers and leadersPerforms manual review of queued transactions to determine likelihood of fraudDevelops Client specific expertise to further support a model-first visionMaintains professional persistence when reviewing transactions or speaking with customersThoroughly researches transaction risk utilizing both new and existing toolsPrioritizes work to meet and exceed deadlinesReports platform issues as they arise and proactively identifies potential impacts to ClientsUtilizes fraud platform features to build upon initial familiarity with Client risk profilesBasic Qualifications:Strong desire to build a career in the fraud industry (no previous experience in fraud required)Fluency in English both verbal and writtenAvailability to work rotating shifts.
Morning, afternoon and evening shifts; including non-business hours, weekends and holidaysFine-tuned organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skillsExceptional problem-solving skillsDisplays confidence in making decisions independentlyMust be able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environmentStrong internet research skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems at onceDemonstrated experience and/or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or similar university studiesPrevious e-commerce fraud prevention/investigationWhy American Express?
