Purpose of Position As a Business Partner (m/f/d) in our Group Controlling Team, you make a significant contribution to preparing decisions for management and fostering transparency by creating and analysing group-wide reports and KPIs.
By constantly developing your role, you ensure that you keep pace with our growing business and dynamic market.
All of this is done in close cooperation with our international subsidiaries and management.
Last but not least, by participating in forecasts and budgets, you will be involved in actively accompanying our future development and strategy.
Key Tasks Partner with senior leadership, including board members, vice presidents, and directors, to provide strategic financial insights and analysis, enabling informed decision-making across R&D and Tech departments.Identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency gains, and revenue growth by delivering qualitative and quantitative insights derived from financial and operational performance metrics.Assess monetization of R&D projects and investments, especially by identifying marketable innovations and post-launch (ROI) performance tracking.Own and manage key financial processes, including headcount planning, and capital expenditure analysis, while ensuring timely anticipation of results ahead of month-end close.Deliver concise and impactful commentary on variances between expected and actual financial outcomes, maintaining open and targeted communication with senior stakeholders throughout the reporting cycle.Play a pivotal role in budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment of financial resources with business priorities and long-term innovation goals.Skills & Expertise 3-5 years of professional experience in controlling, with a proven track record of delivering impactful financial analyses.Driven and results-oriented professional with a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.Deep passion for financial planning, controlling, and analysis, eager to contribute to a dynamic, diverse, and international environment.Experience in usage of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, with a strong aptitude for leveraging technology to drive insights is a plus.Solid understanding of accounting and controlling standards, including IFRS, with the ability to align financial processes with compliance requirements.Exceptional communication skills in English, with proficiency in an additional language being an advantage.Proven experience in project controlling, particularly in R&D or Tech-driven environments.Detail-oriented, analytical, and independent work style, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within teams and adapt to dynamic priorities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging confidently with senior management and cross-functional teams.Our Offer Flexi-Week and Work-Life Balance: We prioritise your mental health and wellbeing, offering you a flexible four-day Flexi-Week at full pay and with no reduction to your annual holiday allowance.
