Within the team, there is one colleague based in Barcelona, and your future manager, who is based in the UK.
Although part of the finance team you will work across the business to provide financial and KPI reporting and insights, giving them financial support as necessary.
In terms of tools we use Excel and Google Sheets so it is important that you have proficient expertise in at least one or other of these. We also use Amazon Quicksight, Hubspot and Business Central although we do not need you to have worked with these particular tools.
What you will do: The Group FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support the decision-making process across the organization. This role will assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling to help ensure the company meets its financial objectives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working cross-functionally with finance and other departments to drive business performance.
Prepare monthly financial and KPI reports for Senior Management, Board Meetings, and other key stakeholders. Include variance analysis to explain movements and identify key drivers and trends.Perform in-depth analysis of key financial metrics such as revenue, expenses, margins, and profitability.Collaborate with Business Unit and Department heads to gather relevant data and support their financial needs.Develop reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights into financial and operational performance.Take responsibility for the collection and maintenance of top-level business KPIs.Play a key role in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.Analyze business performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.Feed directly into strategic decision-making, including M&A, through developing financial models and providing insights and analysis from the data.What we are looking for: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strong Excel and financial modelling skills.A few years experience in financial analysis, FP&A or a similar role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
